Speech Elephant (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our platform and mobile application. We comply with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) and applicable international standards.

• Voice Recordings: Audio captured during speech therapy exercises, used solely for real-time AI feedback and progress tracking.
• Profile Information: Name, age, and (optionally) diagnosis type provided at registration.
• Usage Data: Exercise history, scores, streaks, and in-app activity used to personalise your therapy plan.
• Device Information: Device type, OS version, and app version for technical support and performance optimisation.
• Communication Data: Emails or messages you send to us.

• Provide personalised speech therapy exercises and real-time feedback
• Allow your assigned Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to monitor your progress
• Improve our AI models — only with your explicit consent
• Send progress reports and service notifications
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Your SLP: Progress and exercise results shared with the SLP assigned to your care.
• Service Providers: Trusted cloud infrastructure providers operating under strict data processing agreements.
• Legal Authorities: Only when required by law or court order.

Voice recordings are retained for up to 12 months to support long-term progress tracking, then permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion. Profile and usage data are retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of account closure.

Under Thailand’s PDPA you have the right to:

• Access and receive a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) and conduct regular security audits. Access to voice data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
